Guest Check-In Procedure

Pursuant to Article 109 of the TULPS, managers of accommodation facilities may only provide lodging to persons holding an identity card or other document capable of certifying their identity under the applicable law. Furthermore, they are required to verify the identity of guests prior to entry.

Normally, guest registration takes place in person between a staff member or facility manager and the guests, represented by the head of the family or group leader.
For holiday homes, where no reception is present, it is necessary to schedule an appointment at a precise time to complete registration procedures, payment, key handover, and instructions for proper use of the accommodation.

In some units of Grottammare mon amour, a self check-in service is available upon request, allowing guests to arrive and access the property independently. In this case, documents and payment must be provided prior to entry. The documents provided will be used exclusively for the mandatory registration of guests under the applicable law.

Self check-in requests must be made online, via the dedicated page, at least 6 days before arrival and no later than 24 hours before check-in. If the request is made less than 6 days before arrival, the balance must be paid exclusively by credit card or instant bank transfer.

Once the procedure has been correctly completed and payment received, guests will receive instructions for collecting the key via a single-use reserved code.

Important note for self check-in:

• Access to the accommodation via self check-in will only be granted after a WhatsApp video call for identity verification. Entry to the property, as well as the related video call, must be carried out at times agreed with the facility, to ensure correct identification of the guest.

• Requests submitted with illegible documents or without payment of the balance and security deposit will not be accepted, and self check-in will not be possible.

• In case of a missed video call or issues with identity verification, access to the accommodation will be denied.
