The check-in

The art. 109 of the Italian TULPS establishes that the managers of hotels and other accommodation facilities, including those that provide accommodation in tents, caravans, as well as the owners or managers of holiday homes and apartments and room rentals, including the managers of reception facilities non-conventional, with the exception of the Alpine refuges included in a specific list established by the region or autonomous province, can provide accommodation exclusively to people in possession of an identity card or other document suitable to certify their identity according to the regulations in force.

Normally the acceptance procedure for residents is done in person between an employee/manager of the facility and the residents represented by the head of the family or group leader. This involves establishing an appointment time in a specific time slot. At the same time as acceptance, payment procedures are carried out, access keys are provided and instructions are given to correctly use the accommodation.

In some apartments the self-check-in service is also available. That is, those staying will be able to enter independently at any time without having to make an appointment. But, in order to comply with the rules, the delivery of the documents as well as the identification of the head of the group/family and the payment procedure must obviously take place first.

The request to be able to self check-in (where available) must be made via the web, from the specific booking user page, at least 6 days before the expected arrival. Always at least 6 days before arrival, the payment procedures for the security deposit and the remaining balance of the rental must be completed.

Once the procedure has been completed correctly and payment has been made within the established terms, you will receive instructions for collecting the key via a reserved single-use code.

Partial procedures or without payment of the balance and the security deposit will not be accepted and check-in must be done in person, in the established time slot, by appointment, as per the rental contract.
